A leading health solutions company is offering an entry-level Shift Supervisor Trainee position in Alabama. This role is designed to prepare employees for supervisory positions by developing management skills and providing exceptional customer service. Trainees will work closely with management to ensure smooth store operations and support customer loyalty efforts.
At CVS Health, we're building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding ourselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming health care.
As the nation's leading health solutions company, we reach millions of Americans through our local presence, digital channels, and more than 300,000 purpose-driven colleagues—caring for people where, when, and how they choose in a way that is uniquely more connected, more convenient, and more compassionate. And we do it all with heart, each and every day.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Successful completion of the training program makes trainees eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles. These leadership positions support store management in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
