As a Starbucks shift supervisor, you’ll be a role model of the store operations standards that define our Starbucks Experience. You’ll lead each shift, working alongside a team of baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products. You’ll be in an energetic store environment where you can positively influence and guide others, maintain an encouraging team environment, and grow your leadership skills. Our shift supervisors are leaders in creating an uplifting experience for customers and partners alike.

Summary of Experience

  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environment - 1 year

Basic Qualifications

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Meet store policies and standards, including quality beverages and food, cash handling, and safety.
  • Six (6) months of experience interacting with and fulfilling customer requests.
  • Experience preparing food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.
  • At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks and coordinating work among employees.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to direct others’ work.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships.
