Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a busy cafe and foster a warm, welcoming environment. You will coach baristas and cooks, ensure beverages and food meet standards, and uphold safety and cash-control policies while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• Experience delegating tasks to others and coordinating two or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
• Strong oral communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of the retail environment and how to maintain store safety and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations with craft and heart to deliver quality beverages and food.
• Coach and guide teammates to follow standard recipes and customize orders as needed.
• Monitor store policies, cash handling, safety, and security with a team-oriented approach.
