Job summary

SSP America at JFK International Airport is seeking a Shift Supervisor to help run daily operations in our diverse cafe and quick-service venues.

The role focuses on supervising team members, enforcing food safety standards, delivering great guest experiences, and upholding service standards during busy shifts. You will work collaboratively to maintain a clean, safe environment and support leadership in achieving goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supervising a team in a coffee shop, quick service restaurant, or fast-food environment.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards.
• Basic computer skills for daily operations and POS systems.
• Ability to multi-task across stations and shifts.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift operations and team members on a daily basis to ensure smooth service.
• Enforce food safety, cleanliness and safety standards during shifts.
• Collaborate with management to uphold best practices and guest satisfaction.

Our Shift Supervisors play an important role in the day to day running of the business. You'll work on shift with the team to cultivate a positive and engaging atmosphere, ensure that best practices are being followed, and hold the team accountable for providing a safe and clean environment for our employees and our guests!

Requirements
