Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education on Long Island University – Greenvale campus is hiring seasonal shift supervisors. Direct the activities of associates on a shift, ensure policy compliance, and oversee completion of duties.

The role includes training staff, scheduling, and evaluating performance to maintain quality, productivity and safety. It also involves reporting, handling time-off requests, and mentoring employees for advancement.

• Pay range: $23.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
