Job summary

CMC is seeking a capable supervisor to lead production teams in its steel fabrication and related operations. You will ensure safe, timely manufacturing to specifications and communicate with crew leaders about daily issues.

The role requires proven leadership, experience in heavy industrial settings, and flexibility for rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure steel is manufactured to CMC specifications safely and on time.
• Communicate with workers and supervisors about production issues.
• Troubleshoot problems using knowledge and collaboration with team members.
• Assist maintenance personnel when requested or needed.
• Lead effective crew meetings at shift start with safety and production updates.
• Foster positive employee relations to attract, develop and retain high performance teams.

What You'll Do

• Work to ensure all steel is manufactured toCMCspecifications and safely in a timely manner
  
• Communicate with fellow workers and supervisors about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
  
• Trouble shoots work related problems using job knowledge, experience, and by communicating with others (pulpit operator, process manager, maintenance personnel, etc)
  
• Assist maintenance personnel when requested/needed
  
• Leading effective crew meetings at start of shift. Include any safety, quality or production communications applicable.
  
• Foster positive employee relations in order to attract, develop and retain high performance teams-focused on employee engagement, leadership development, performance alignment to CMC objectives, and change management for accountability.
  

What You'll Need

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
