This role is subject to regulatory approvals and CVS’s completion of the acquisition of the assets related to your current Rite Aid store.

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions
  1. Manage and supervise store staff by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
  2. Communicate effectively with store management and crews.
  3. Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
  4. Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
  5. Handle customer relations issues per company policy and foster a positive shopping experience.
  6. Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
  7. Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
  8. Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
Required Qualifications
  • Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
  • Strong communication and supervision skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and respond to urgent store needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
