Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Manage store operations and staff, including assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate effectively with store management and staff.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture—greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
• Handle customer relations issues per company policy, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).

Required Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, overtime, and respond to urgent issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a retail supervisor.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
