Job summary

Merakey is seeking an IDD Shift Supervisor for our Philadelphia facility. Hours are 2:30pm-11pm on alternate weekends. Pay starts at $20.50/hour with an additional $2/hour Enhanced Pay option. The role oversees daily shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and staff development while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

You will manage team performance, coordinate workflow, and serve as the liaison between staff and management to implement policy and drive results.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of IDD experience.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of team members during the shift to meet operational targets.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes as needed to maintain productivity and quality.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Address and resolve any operational issues or employee concerns promptly and effectively.

The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations during their assigned shift to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. This position requires managing and motivating team members, coordinating workflow, and addressing any issues that arise promptly to maintain smooth operations. The Shift Supervisor acts as a key point of contact between staff and upper management, facilitating clear communication and implementing company policies effectively. They are responsible for monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. Ultimately, the Shift Supervisor ensures that operational goals are achieved while supporting team development and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IDD
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in a similar industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and reporting.

• Associate degree or higher in business management, operations, or related field.
• Experience with scheduling software and performance management tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams.
