AutoZone's Part-Time Shift Supervisors will assist the Store Manager with leading company initiatives and ensuring maximum productivity, training high-performing AutoZoners in a safe environment, driving sales, controlling expenses and shrink, and remaining compliant with company procedures in accordance with AutoZone’s expectations. Part-Time Shift Supervisors will exceed customer expectations by delivering a WOW! Customer shopping experience on assigned shifts by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel
• Take responsibility for store operations and the commercial department during the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts
• Manage the Commercial and Hub Departments (if applicable) to ensure timely servicing of commercial accounts and deliveries
• Delegate and ensure completion of store merchandising tasks
• Operate cash registers and handle cash duties, including deposits, petty cash, and lane accountability
• Follow all company policies and loss prevention procedures
• Help customers locate merchandise using ZNET or find suitable alternatives
• Maintain a safe working environment, including proper PPE implementation
• Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls
• Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards
• Conduct opening and closing procedures
• Manage emergency situations and follow emergency procedures
• Follow accident procedures
• Provide feedback on AutoZoner performance to the store manager
• Monitor and manage activities related to Risk & Safety Management
• Address and resolve customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments
• Process returns and manage inventory effectively
• Communicate issues and concerns to the Store Manager promptly and confidentially
• Motivate AutoZoners to deliver WOW! Customer Service, improve productivity, and promote sales and profits

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification preferred
• High level of integrity
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to drive customer service
