Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA, is hiring immediately for part-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions. Shifts are 6:00 am–2:00 pm and 12:30 pm–8:30 pm, with rotating weekends. A minimum of 1 year of supervisory/management experience is required.

The pay range is $20.00 to $20.50 per hour, and a $750 sign-on bonus is offered (half at 30 days and the remainder at 90 days). As part of Compass Group USA, we value caring for people and delivering quality meals.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.

• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety targets.
• Serve as the contact person for employee time-off requests or concerns.
• Mentor and develop employees to support advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
