Jobbeschreibung

Lead the Shift. Protect the Experience.

At the MilkShake Factory, our team is the heart of everything we do. Since 1914, our family’s passion for chocolate has been passed down through generations — and today, we’re Pittsburgh’s premier destination for handspun shakes, craft sundaes, and gourmet chocolates.

We’re looking for a motivated Shift Supervisor who brings energy, accountability, and a team-first mindset to every shift. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, leads by example, and takes pride in creating smooth, successful shifts from start to finish.

Our Shift Supervisors work alongside the team while setting the tone — ensuring goals are met, standards are upheld, and every guest leaves with an unforgettable experience.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We believe in taking care of our team just like family. Here’s what you can expect:

• Competitive Wages + Tips
• Flexible Schedules (perfect for students, parents, or anyone who needs balance)
• Growth Opportunities into management and beyond
• Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance eligibility
• 401k with Employer Match
• Paid Time Off + Holiday Pay
• Pittsburgh Penguins® Partnership Perks– tickets, merch, and more!
• Free Milkshake Each Shift
• 40% Employee Discount(chocolate included!)

What You’ll Do

• As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll be the steady presence that keeps the shift running smoothly — and the positive energy that keeps the team motivated. You’ll:
• Lead each shift with confidence, clarity, and consistency
• Set the tone on the floor — calm, upbeat, and solution-focused
• Work side-by-side with your team to hit service, sales, and quality goals
• Delegate tasks thoughtfully so everyone knows their role
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and running efficiently
• Handle guest questions or concerns with professionalism and warmth
• Ensure food safety, cash handling, and operational standards are always met
• Support training and help newer team members feel confident and capable
• Communicate clearly with management about what’s working and what needs attention
• Be the connector — bridging leadership expectations with the day-to-day energy of the team
• You’re not just running a shift — you’re protecting the experience.

What We’re Looking For

• A natural motivator — you lift the room without forcing it
• Someone steady under pressure — busy rushes don’t rattle you
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Comfortable giving direction in a kind, respectful way
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Previous customer service or food service experience required
• Prior leadership experience preferred (but we’ll train the right person!)
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Energy and stamina — you’ll be movin’ and shakin’ all shift long
