Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor II to lead a manufacturing shift in Jeffersonville, Indiana. You will coordinate safety, quality, and productivity while guiding a team to meet daily and weekly goals.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, troubleshooting issues, training workers, and ensuring compliance with lean manufacturing and TPM or Six Sigma practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience; Community/Technical College.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing philosophies, TPM, or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (Mandarin highly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates a production shift.
  • Monitors and responds to daily product and process concerns.
  • Assists in the troubleshooting of technical problems.
  • Provides leadership by training and guiding employees.
  • Organizes workflow and ensures employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Enforces strict safety guidelines and company standards.
