CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to develop supervisory skills for future roles within the company. This entry-level position focuses on customer service excellence, team leadership, and operational efficiency, preparing trainees for career growth within CVS. Candidates should be flexible, have retail experience, and possess strong communication abilities.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team by driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. The role requires retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Salary ranges depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
