The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through excellent service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles involve supporting store management in executing store operations, driving performance, and fostering customer loyalty. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should have retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary, depending on the position and relevant factors such as experience, education, and location.
