CVS Health seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee for an entry-level position in Bayamón, PR. This role prepares employees for supervisory duties and includes training in essential management skills. Successful trainees may be promoted to supervisor positions, managing staff and ensuring operational excellence while providing exceptional customer service.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store execution and performance, and when no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is necessary.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary for the position, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
