Job Duties
Position is responsible for providing direction to an hourly production crew of the Lincoln, NE soybean extraction plant. The candidate will coordinate communication, personnel, resources and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant during the shift. Must be able to communicate expectations and goals for safety, quality, productivity, reliability, environmental compliance and operating costs.Takes an active role in managing the shift and coaching employees to reach their fullest potential by providing feedback in a manner that is effective, consistent and fair.This position reports to the Extraction Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Ownership for the safety of self and other team members
• LOTO of equipment to be worked on
• Assignment of Jobs to personnel
• Prepare Permits
• Check on progress of jobs
• Answer Personnel Questions – or find the information needed
• Communicate with Maintenance / Help with Operation’s Maintenance Issues
• Call in maintenance, management, commercial, or shift coverage help as needed
• Write work orders in Maximo
• Work with maintenance supervision to minimize equipment down time
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues
• Assist in writing of JCCs and SOPs for production activities
• Enforce company plans, policies, and rules
• Lead team meetings and follow up on action items
• Other duties as assigned

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$58,100.00 - $108,000.00
