Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in Elizabeth, New Jersey, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead team shifts and provide excellent customer service. You'll ensure that team members adhere to food safety standards and company policies while assisting in the training of new hires.

The ideal candidate has experience in cash handling and customer service, preferably in a supervisory role. This position offers flexible scheduling and a range of employee benefits for committed individuals.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Complete kitchen-related tasks including prepping, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assist in training new team members.
