The role includes leading shifts, supporting baristas, maintaining standards, and safeguarding the guest experience. You will ensure cleanliness, stock, and readiness for business, acting as manager on duty during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor/leadership experience in hospitality or cafe settings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a team and uphold standards during busy service.
• Comfort with cash handling and bank deposits.
• Experience with inventory counts and product ordering.
• Willingness to learn and execute latte art.
• Ability to dial in and maintain espresso quality.
• Sense of urgency and ownership.
• Availability for mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shifts with urgency, maintain service flow and guest experience.
• Open and close cafe; manage keys, alarms, and cash handling.
• Oversee cash procedures and end-of-day deposits.
• Coach team members and uphold drink standards and service expectations.
• Manage inventory counts, ordering, and waste reduction.
• Maintain cafe cleanliness, safety, and overall hospitality quality.
• Troubleshoot basic facilities and equipment issues.
• Support the team in producing excellent drinks and espresso quality.
• Protect the guest experience and resolve issues professionally.
