Job summary

José Andrés Group is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the floor, own assigned shifts, and uphold brand standards with a focus on guest hospitality and safety. You will coach hourly team members, oversee opening/closing procedures, and ensure smooth operations across all dayparts.

Responsibilities include managing service cadence, handling escalations, and maintaining DOH compliance while delivering an outstanding guest experience. Growth path to leadership roles is available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of restaurant supervision experience and 1+ year in fast casual or full-service restaurants.
• Ability to lead a team during high-volume periods; strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of service standards, sanitation/health codes, and responsible alcohol service.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and evaluate team members fairly.
• Basic P&L literacy regarding labor, cash handling, and inventory.
• Ability to use POS systems, scheduling tools, and Google Workspace.
• Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor during shifts and manage service line during peaks.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and safety checks.
• Coach hourly team members and support guest recovery.
• Uphold SOPs, monitor service cadence, and ensure brand standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, equipment readiness, and inventory control.
• Communicate across shifts with logs/notes and proactive updates.
