A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to coordinate Respiratory Care Services. This role requires an Associate's degree, certifications in CPR and ACLS, and at least two years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for administering therapies and managing documentation in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care.
POSITION SUMMARY:
To organize and coordinate the clinical and technical aspects of Respiratory Care Services and administer all forms of Respiratory Therapy, including consultations on therapy types, materials management, safety standards enforcement, and documentation of care provided.
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree from an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience, including critical care; prior supervisory or charge experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Current Registration and Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy, current CPR and ACLS certifications, and licensure in New Jersey. Must demonstrate commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Ability to perform necessary skills and competencies, effective group process, and strong oral and written communication skills. Must have effective listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing environments and stressful situations. Ability to work cooperatively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong time management, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential.
