Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Eurest division at Capital One Cafe in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a Shift Supervisor for full-time and part-time positions. You will direct associates on shift, ensure tasks meet policy and safety standards, and provide coaching and scheduling support.

The role requires a Monday–Friday, 12:00 pm–7:00 pm schedule with weekends mandatory. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, with perks including free coffee and tea, tips, and an internal referral bonus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity and safety targets are met.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employee requests and time-off issues.
• Mentor and develop staff and encourage advancement within the team.

• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
