Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Eurest division is hiring a part-time Shift Supervisor for the Capital One Cafe in Chicago. You will direct associates during a shift and ensure tasks are completed according to policy, while maintaining quality, safety and productivity.

No experience is required—training is provided. Weekend availability is needed. The position pays $18.00 per hour with the full range of benefits for part-time staff.

• We are hiring immediately for a part time SHIFT SUPERVISORposition.
• Location: Capital One Cafe - 3435 N Southport, Chicago, IL 60657 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part time schedule. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work weekends. More details upon interview.

• Fixed Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
