Job summary

Compass Group USA in Wayne, NE is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor to direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure policy compliance. The role requires prior food service and supervisory experience.

The position offers a Monday-Wednesday 3:00 pm–9:00 pm schedule with Saturday-Sunday split shifts, competitive hourly pay ($16.00–$17.50), and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Wednesday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday split shift, 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. More details upon interview.
