Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring immediately for full time Shift Supervisor positions at our Waukesha, WI location. Schedule includes Monday through Wednesday, 4:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and Friday through Saturday, 1:00 pm to 12:00 am, with nights and weekends.

Prior leadership experience, customer service experience, and a HACCP certification are required. Direct the activities of associates on shift, create schedules, provide training, and evaluate performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during the shift to ensure tasks are completed according to policy.
• Create and manage work schedules for the team.
• Provide training and evaluate performance; reward high performance and address issues as needed.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity, and safety targets are met.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee requests and time off; mentor staff and encourage advancement.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
