Job summary

ESFM is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor at our Rockville, VA location. You will direct a shift, ensure tasks meet policy and quality standards, and supervise associates. Initial startup hours may differ as site launches, with planned transition to standard schedules.

Prior supervisory, warehouse, or janitorial experience is a plus and a $500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days. Compensation includes a fixed pay rate of $21.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure completion of assigned tasks.

• We have an opening for full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions.
• Location: 2022 Ashland Road, Rockville, VA 23146. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule:
  • Employees will be assigned to either Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday schedules, working 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (days) or 7:00 PM–5:30 AM (nights).
  • During the initial site startup and construction clean phase, all team members will temporarily work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, before transitioning to their assigned schedule.
• Requirement: Previous supervisory experience is required. Previous warehouse and janitorial experience a plus!
• Perks: Offering a $500 sign-on bonus paid upon completion of 90 days of employment.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
