Job summary

Compass Group USA at Peru State College in Peru, NE, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor for a Tue–Thu, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm and Sun, 12:00 pm–8:00 pm schedule. Prior supervisory and food handling experience preferred; training will be provided.

Perks include a free shift meal and uniforms (excluding non-slip shoes and black work pants). You will train staff, schedule shifts, evaluate performance, prepare reports, handle time-off requests, and mentor team members while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Food handling experience preferred.

• Schedule: Full time schedule; Tuesday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Sunday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior supervisory and food handling experience is preferred.

• Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
