AutoZone's Full-Time Shift Supervisors assist the Store Manager in leading initiatives, ensuring productivity, training staff, driving sales, controlling expenses and shrink, and maintaining compliance with company procedures. They also aim to deliver an exceptional customer experience by Living the Pledge daily.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Manage store operations and commercial departments during the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts.
3. Oversee management of the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure service and delivery commitments are met.
4. Ensure timely completion of merchandising tasks.
5. Operate cash registers and handle cash responsibilities, including deposits and petty cash.
6. Follow all company policies and loss prevention procedures.
7. Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or alternatives.
8. Maintain a safe work environment, including PPE compliance.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security.
10. Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures.
12. Manage emergency situations and follow emergency procedures.
13. Follow accident procedures.
14. Provide performance feedback to the store manager.
15. Monitor and manage Risk & Safety activities to ensure safety.
16. Address and resolve customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments.
17. Manage returns and inventory effectively.
18. Communicate issues and concerns to the Store Manager confidentially.
19. Motivate staff to deliver WOW! Customer Service, improve productivity, and market products to increase sales and profits.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• High integrity.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive customer service.
