Job Title

Shift Supervisor – Full Time

Location

First Line – 2620 Conti Street, New Orleans, LA 70119

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (full‑time schedules; details discussed during interview)

Pay

$16.00 to $16.50 per hour

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous K‑12 food service management experience is required.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work during school breaks when food service needs decline or cease (unpaid temporary layoff).
• For positions in Florida Level 2 background screening may be required.
