Job summary

Canteen North America is hiring for a full-time Shift Supervisor at Beach and Borough Deli in Matthews, NC. You will direct associates during a shift, ensure tasks meet policy and quality standards, and maintain safe operations.

The role requires prior deli, cooking, food service, order-taking, and inventory experience, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 am–2:00 pm. Competitive hourly pay $17–$19 and a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and discipline when needed.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity, and safety goals are met.
• Act as the primary contact for employee requests and time-off issues.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
