AutoZone's Full-Time Shift Supervisors assist the Store Manager with leading company initiatives, ensuring maximum productivity, training high-performing AutoZoners in a safe environment, driving sales, controlling expenses and shrink, and remaining compliant with company procedures. Shift Supervisors exceed customer expectations by delivering a WOW! Customer shopping experience on assigned shifts by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel
• Assume responsibility for store operation and commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts
• Assist with management of the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure service and delivery commitments
• Delegate and ensure timely completion of store merchandising tasks
• Operate cash registers and handle cash duties including deposits and petty cash
• Follow all company policies and loss prevention procedures
• Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding alternatives
• Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE compliance
• Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security
• Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards
• Conduct opening and closing procedures
• Manage emergency situations and conduct proper procedures
• Follow accident procedures
• Provide performance feedback to the store manager
• Monitor and manage Risk & Safety activities
• Address and resolve customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments
• Process returns and manage inventory effectively
• Communicate issues and concerns to the Store Manager
• Motivate AutoZoners to provide WOW! Customer Service, enhance productivity, and promote sales

Position Requirements
