Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Lewisburg, PA is seeking a shift supervisor to lead associates during a specific shift, ensure policy compliance, and maintain quality, safety, and productivity. This full-time role requires prior supervisory and food service experience; includes nights and weekends.

Location: Bucknell University, 701 Moore Avenue. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, with opportunities for training and development and a comprehensive benefits

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
