Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Shift Supervisor on the Bowling Green campus. Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure that tasks meet policy and quality standards.

The role includes training staff, creating work schedules, evaluating performance, and preparing reports to ensure productivity and safety. It offers full-time and part-time opportunities, a $17 per hour wage, and a range of benefits and development options.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a food service lead position, hospitality, and customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure assigned tasks meet policy and procedure requirements.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate employee performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management ensuring quality, productivity and safety goals are met.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee questions and time-off requests.
• Mentor staff and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and stride for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
