Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Ochsner Lafayette General in Lafayette, LA. You will direct the activities of associates on a shift and ensure completion of assigned tasks in line with policy.

The role includes training staff, creating schedules, evaluating performance, and serving as the contact for time-off requests. This is a hands-on leadership position with opportunities to mentor teammates and uphold quality, safety, and service

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and oversee completion of assigned tasks while maintaining policy and procedures.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity, and safety.
• Serve as contact for employee inquiries and time-off requests.
• Mentor staff and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Location: Ochsner Lafayette General - 1214 Coolidge Street, Lafayette, LA 70503. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, hours may vary; weekends and holidays included. More details upon interview.
• Pay Range: $17.00per hour to$19.00per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
