Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a full time Shift Supervisor at Ochsner Medical Center Hancock in Bay Saint Louis, MS. The role requires leadership experience and a willingness to train staff to meet service standards.

You will direct shift activities, manage schedules, and ensure quality, safety, and customer service goals are met while supporting the team’s development and growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous food service, leadership, and hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline as needed.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety standards.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
