Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Take responsibility for store operations and the commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts.
3. Help manage the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure timely servicing of commercial accounts and deliveries.
4. Delegate and oversee store merchandising tasks.
5. Operate cash registers and handle cash duties, including deposits and petty cash.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention procedures.
7. Use ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or alternatives.
8. Maintain a safe working environment, including the use of PPE.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls.
10. Maintain store appearance, sales productivity, and merchandising standards.
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures.
12. Manage emergency situations and conduct proper emergency procedures.
13. Follow accident procedures and provide performance feedback to the store manager.
14. Monitor and manage Risk & Safety activities.
15. Address and resolve customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments.
16. Process returns and manage inventory effectively.
17. Communicate issues and concerns to the Store Manager confidentially and promptly.
18. Motivate AutoZoners to deliver excellent customer service, increase productivity, and market products.

Position Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. ASE Certification preferred.
3. High integrity and excellent communication and decision-making skills.
4. Ability to drive customer service.
