Job summary

Compass Healthcare in Houston is looking for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR to direct the activities of associates during shifts at Memorial City Medical Center. This role includes evaluating performance, preparing reports, and mentoring employees for advancement.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Location: Memorial City Medical Center – 921 Gessner Road, Houston, TX 77024. (Online applications only.)

Schedule: Full‑time, flexible. Days and hours may vary; more details upon interview.

Pay: $17.50–$18.50 per hour.

Position: SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Full‑time).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers; rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Preparing production or sales reports for management and ensuring the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Acting as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentoring, developing employees, and encouraging workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
