Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division is seeking a Shift Supervisor for Hazleton, PA. This full-time role directs a shift, oversees that tasks are completed, and upholds policy and procedure.

The position requires bilingual communication and offers a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour, with a Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 pm – 5:30 am schedule. You will train staff, manage schedules, monitor performance, and prepare production/sales reports for management, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual and able to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in shift supervision or hospitality/facility services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure completion of assigned tasks.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity, and safety targets are met.
• Serve as point of contact for employee questions and time-off requests.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
