AutoZone's Full-Time Shift Supervisors assist the Store Manager with leading company initiatives and ensuring maximum productivity. They train high-performing AutoZoners in a safe environment, drive sales, control expenses and shrink, and remain compliant with company procedures in accordance with AutoZone’s expectations. Shift Supervisors exceed customer expectations by delivering a WOW! Customer shopping experience on assigned shifts by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel
2. Assume responsibility for store operation and commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts
3. Assist with management of the Commercial and Hub Departments, ensuring commercial accounts and store deliveries are serviced as promised
4. Delegate and ensure store merchandising tasks are completed timely
5. Operate cash registers and handle cash duties including deposits, petty cash, and lane accountability
6. Ensure all policies and loss prevention procedures are followed
7. Utilize ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find alternatives
8. Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE practices
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security control
10. Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures
12. Manage emergency situations and conduct proper procedures
13. Follow accident procedures
14. Provide feedback on AutoZoner performance to the store manager
15. Monitor and manage activities related to Risk & Safety Management
16. Address customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments
17. Process returns and manage inventory effectively
18. Communicate AutoZoner issues and concerns to the Store Manager promptly and confidentially
19. Motivate AutoZoners to deliver WOW! Customer Service, enhance productivity, and market products to increase sales and profits

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certified preferred
• High level of integrity
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to drive customer service
