Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will manage associates during shifts, ensure that job expectations are completed, and provide training and scheduling. Candidates with prior barista experience and convenience store management experience are preferred.

Overview

SHIFT SUPERVISOR position — full time. Location: Greensboro, NC (815 West Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27401).

Pay range: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm with some nights and weekends required for special events. Online applications accepted.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Provide training and create work schedules; evaluate performance, reward high performers, and administer discipline when standards are not met.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety goals.
• Act as the point of contact for employee questions, time-off requests, and concerns; mentor and encourage employee development and advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience and experience managing a convenience store is a plus.
