Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a full-time supervisor for a shift in Anderson, IN. The role involves directing associates, training staff, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the shift.

Ideal candidates have prior barista experience with supervisory skills. The schedule is full-time, typically 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with compensation between $17.00 and $18.00 per hour.

• Provide training and create work schedules.

• Serve as a point of contact for employee time-off requests and complaints.
• Mentor staff and encourage career development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

$17.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour.
