Chartwells Higher Ed Dining Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor (Full‑time) at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. The role directs associates on a shift, provides training, schedules staff, and ensures quality, safety, and policy compliance.

Responsibilities include evaluating performance, reporting to management, serving as a go‑to contact person for time off and concerns, mentoring staff, and taking on additional duties as needed.

Position: Shift Supervisor (Full‑time)

Salary: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Full‑time, open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary; details provided during interview.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Serve as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
