Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama. The role directs the activities of associates during a shift and ensures that assigned duties meet policy and quality standards, with evenings and weekends required.

You will train staff, schedule shifts, evaluate performance, and act as the main contact for time-off requests. This position offers strong benefits and the chance to make a real difference in patient meals

• May mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
