Position Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
- Take responsibility for store operations and the commercial department during shifts in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager.
- Manage the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure timely service of commercial accounts and deliveries.
- Delegate and oversee store merchandising tasks.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash duties, including deposits and petty cash.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention procedures.
- Help customers locate merchandise using ZNET and find suitable alternatives.
- Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE practices.
- Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security.
- Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures.
- Manage emergency situations and conduct proper emergency procedures.
- Follow accident procedures and provide feedback on employee performance.
- Assist in managing Risk & Safety activities to ensure a safe workplace.
- Address and resolve customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments.
- Manage returns and inventory effectively.
- Communicate issues and concerns to the Store Manager.
- Motivate employees to deliver excellent customer service and increase sales.
Position Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- ASE Certification preferred.
- High integrity and excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to drive customer service.
