Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a full-time Shift Supervisor at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. This role oversees EVS staff, enforces policy, and ensures daily goals are met.

Essential duties include training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and serving as a point of contact for staff concerns. Leadership with a focus on development is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior EVS (Environmental Services) experience is required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

• We are hiring immediately for full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions.
• Location: University of Cincinnati Medical Center - 3188 Bellevue Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday. Shifts are: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior environmental Services (EVS) experience is required. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Pay Range:$21.00 per hour to$25.00per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
