Flik Hospitality Group seeks a full-time Stewarding Supervisor at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center, 1900 University Ave, Austin, TX 78705. A strong stewarding and supervisory background is preferred, with duties including directing shift activities and enforcing policies.

The role involves training staff, scheduling, evaluating performance, and ensuring quality, productivity and safety. We offer meals, uniforms, laundering, and a comprehensive benefits package to eligible associates.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure job expectations meet policy and procedure.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and discipline underperforming employees.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity and safety targets are met.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee questions or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop staff, encouraging advancement within the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time STEWARDING SUPERVISOR position.


• Location: AT&T Hotel and Conference Center - 1900 University Avenue, Austin, TX 78705. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: Previous stewarding and supervisory experience preferred.

• Fixed Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.


• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.


• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.


• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.


• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.


• Perform other duties as assigned.
