Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring for Shift Supervisor roles at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI. Positions are full-time and part-time with a schedule of 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and weekend availability required. Prior food service and customer service experience is required; training is provided.

Salary ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Responsible for directing shift activities, training, scheduling, and maintaining quality, safety, and performance

Responsibilities

• We are hiring immediately for full and part time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions.
• Location: Andrews University - 8525 University Boulevard, Berrien Springs, MI 49104. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full and part time; Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Weekend availability is required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service and customer service is required. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to$17.00 per hour.

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
