Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor to direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure policy and quality standards are met.

You will train staff, create schedules, evaluate performance, and act as a mentor while supporting safety, production and patient care goals. Prior supervisory experience in food service is preferred and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory/lead experience in food service preferred.
• Full-time schedule with varying days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
