Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Oceanside, NY to oversee kitchen operations and ensure top-quality food and service. You will lead a team, coordinate with the chef leadership team, and manage orders, stock, and safety to deliver consistent guest experiences.

The role requires 1+ year(s) of supervisory experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant, strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in opening, prepping, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and in full working order.
• Conduct briefings with front- and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Provide professional leadership and participate in training and development.
