Position Summary

Better Buzz Coffee is seeking Shift Supervisors to help us in our brand new location, which we expect will open in September of 2026. Training will be provided. 235 Old Nuevo Rd., Perris, CA 92571.

Compensation

Base pay is $17.50 per hour. In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our customers regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the service and energy we bring every day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions – our baristas are cross‑trained and adaptable, including working in the kitchen to make food to order
• Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meal periods, and shifts
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks
• Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty
• Lead store cleanliness and safety – always ready for guests and teammates
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team
• Be responsible for balancing and managing deposits
• Be active in inventory and waste management
• Adhere to opening and closing duties checklists and procedures
• Perform all other duties at the discretion of the store manager or other members of leadership

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality (preferred)
• Previous fast‑paced coffee experience (preferred)
• Prior supervisory experience (preferred)
• Drive‑thru experience preferred
• Guest service focused, solution oriented
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution‑oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Must be available to work 28 hours per week, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work a mixture of opens, closes and mid‑shifts as dictated by the business needs
